The dog is the man's best friend and it's being proven all the way.

The story behind the poetry speaks of a failed health due to Pneumonia.
This is a sickness that made me hospitalized when I was in College and missed the opportunity to join the Grand Finals of a Singing Competition... It was truly a frustrating.
Thinking on the bright side, there must be a good reason for everything and grateful that I am still alive in my Senior years now.
I can relate the experience of having this Pneumonia and taking the Antibiotics that I hate the smell and the taste.
The poem is well written and nicely presented all the way.

The frustrations and disappointments are being mentioned here. The last stanza is like a great relief to all of the challenges life throws to us.
