"Cats Are Not Allowed In Paradise" a poem by Wendy Van Camp, has published in "The Junction" an online literary magazine on the Medium Platform.

The poem is inspired by my own sweet little cat and workshopped in two different critique groups. I normally write speculative poetry, so it is a pleasure to stretch my abilities and write a little literary piece now and then. I hope you enjoy reading it:

A blessed and happy Easter to all! Although we are sequestered in our home and viewing Mass on television instead of in our parish church, I am grateful that my family is home and safe during these troubling times.

Work on my poetry collection continues. I now have a cover for the book and I'm getting close to finishing the poems. Next, I have to do the illustrations, but I'm hoping that won't take me more than a few days since I have the images I want to do plotted. I just need to get them on the page.

The book will be called "The Planets: a scifaiku poetry collection".
