exp(i*Pi*) = -1

Negative numbers, imaginary numbers, e and pi all together.

exp(ix) = cos(x) + i*sin(x),

which in turn can be deduced from MacLauirin's series for exp(x), sin(x), and cos(x). However, I prefer the more elegant derivation that involves differential equations.

Made it to Arizona. We're in Goodyear. Had a nice dinner with a retired co-worker/friend. Today we're off to the farmer's market. We saw a bunch of nice farms along the Colorado River, but the river looked a little sad. Outside of the Colorado, there wasn't much water.
I remember Goodyear and avondale. I grew up along the I10 near buckeye, off Jack Rabbit Trail, back when it was an exit with a gas station in the middle of the desert.
Claevyan Author Icon - You'd be surprised at how much this area has been built up. Lots of new stuff. An compared to California, much more affordable. My friend was telling me that Goodyear tires were made here.
Stopped for gas in Arizona! Only 3.29 a gallon!
$3.18 or $3.19 around this town (central VA).
1.50 a litre for me = @ 3.29 means .87 a litre, I'm paying = usa has a better price than we do
My car requires Premium so, even though I'm stuck at the high end of the scale, I'm thankful that it's generally < $4.00 / gallon.
Ross trip update:construction in Blythe. Down to one lane. Looks like they are widening the area.
