The italics feature is tweaking! *FacePalm*

It's putting sentences in italics that do not have the italics symbols around them. Anyone know how to fix this?
Check what style of parentheses are around the "i", if it's a lower case "i" and the slash being / and not \. Those are the most common errors I've done. *FacePalm*
Hi! Make sure you close the command. It should look like this before you save it:

{i}I want to have this sentence in italics.{/i} I don't want to have this sentence in italics.

If you don't have {/i} where you want the italics to end, they'll just keep going.
I highlight and then click the italics button. I don't do it manually. I've done it and redone it a hundred times. LoL. It's a story mainly consisting of text messages, and the italics work until the end. The system just decided to put the whole ending in italics.
Hey! I'm thinking about expanding this story I wrote for a contest. Before I do, I would love some input! Please give it a read and a review. Thank you!

I have a new story out if anyone is in the reviewing mood. It was written for the Weekly Screams contest with an open prompt and unlimited word count, but I rushed to finish it in the last hour or two. The week got away from me a bit. *FacePalm*

*Smirk2* Who exchanges horror stories with their children over lunch at a restaurant? Me! *Wave* *Whistle* *BigSmile* Look out for giant zombie dragons so powerful they can suck out your brain from 10 feet away, invisible giants that can only be seen by their victims, and serial killers. We got quite a few crazy looks as we were telling each other our stories. LOL, I AM NOT ASHAMED! *Rolling*
I've just finished the first draft, reviews?

I am struggling...

....with consistency in my writing. I've been trying to practice writing in different POV. I'm used to REALLY digging into a character(my story Alone At Last, for example). So, when I am the all knowing narrator I tend to take on the main character, of that scenes, tone and attitude. Is there anything on here that can help me with this?
That link was very helpful! I have an intense urge to press some keys now lol.
Let me know when you've uploaded it. I'll take a look.
I apparently already posted it in book form lol. Or at least the unfinished first chapter. It's a good example of what I meant, though.

How is everyone holding up? I hope everyone is getting through this quarantine on a positive note. *Smile*
My son and I are using this time to write an exaggerated story about our very own cabin fever! Packed full with his favorite type of horror...zombies! LoL They don't eat brains because they are too crazy obsessive looking for cures to Corona and somehow super strong so don't get in their way! LOL *Laugh*
S. E. Mabson Author Icon that sounds great!! *Laugh*
by the way- have you seen iZombie on Netflix? Seems like something you might like!
Not yet lol
Any good apps or strategies for a story and character development? The strategy I use for short stories leaves me struggling when practicing longer works.
Im currently exploring novel-factory.com for this EXACT reason. So far it's working miracles.
Anyone have any fantasy stories I can read? *Castle* *Horse* *Shield4*

Hey, you can always browse by genre if you feel like reading something specific. On the left side of you're screen, you find this link: Browse By Genre which will open up into many genres. You can pick from there.

And just in case I bored you, click here:
https://www.writing.com/main/list_items/type/genres/genre/Fantasy

Making up for boring you. *Bigsmile*

You can also check out the author: Beholden Author Icon. He's really good.
Hope this helped!
Depends on what kind of fantasy you prefer. If you like the horse and sword style, then no, I don't have anything. If you like...what is it called, urban fantasy? then yeah, I've got some of that. I'm not even sure that's the right term, lol Anyway, here's a folder you can check out if you would like: "WITCHFUL THINKING
"Invalid Item working on turning these shorts into a novel but maybe you'll enjoy them until I do. I'd love another set of eyes either way.
I mentioned earlier I have been absent from the site for a while. I just finished purging my e-mail. I feel so inspired to write, after reading all the reviews though criticism also encouragement. It reminded me why I enjoyed the site so much the first time around.
Glad you're back *BigSmile*
Hi everybody! It's been a LONG time since I have been on here actively. Around a year I believe...I missed this place! :)
