Thank you Sunny, for the Merit Badge! I really appreciate it.
I've added a new item to my blog. "My Blog/Journal" "When Memories Unexpectedly Come Crashing Back"
This post is a dream I had back in 1973. This dream was also what started my being diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 1981. Please feel free to review it. "My Weird Dreams"
I meant to type "here", not "hear". LOL
If you click the little arrow thingy in the upper right corner of the box your note is in, a dropdown menu will appear. Among other things, it will say Edit Note. When you click to edit a note, the edit box will appear below your note. Edit it and save when you are done. If you need to edit it again, you have to refresh the page in order to be able to edit a 2nd time. Experience talking. You can't edit comments, only the original note you create. If you post a comment wrong, you can delete it by clicking the little X in the upper right corner of it. But each time you post a new comment, the original author and anyone who has already posted on that note (and didn't uncheck the "Email me about replies" box) will get notified of every reply you post so we generally don't delete and repost replies to fix minor errors. In the case like hear/here, if that had been a comment, I wouldn't have bothered to delete it and change it. But I would bother to edit it since it's in the original note. I hope this helps!
I keep trying to post a review request on hear like more than one person has suggested. Apparently I'm doing something wrong. But I'll try again. I would love to get opinions on the following items on my portfolio. I would really appreciated it. Be honest and if you find errors, please let me know. Thanks "Vincent The Blue-Eyed Dragon" "My Experience with Bipolar Disorder" "My Blob/Journal" "Ego
Remember to post a link with {item:#######}. I think what he's talking about is the Auto-Reward Items through the Community tab. That means you automatically give a certain number of GPs for any review you get. People will go there to earn extra GPs. Though you might do better with that if you are offering more GPs for it, than if you offer less, I think. Good luck!
| I've added items to my portfolio and would love to get opinions on the following items. Please be honest and if you find errors, let me know. I know some of you have already reviewed most of these but I hoping to get more people to review them. Thanks. | I'm in Korea on my study abroad, so I don't have time, ATM. But you can go to the Community tab and post them under Please Review. Also, know that not that many people will see your comments because you currently only have 2 fans and probably not even both people will see what you write because some folks don't check the Newsfeed, some might not come daily and so when they check the Newsfeed, they might only check the last few things posted, and some might go on vacation or even leave the site. 2 fans doesn't guarantee 2 sets of eyes. Not to mention, there are those who don't take the action you want. I encourage you to continue to socialize on the Community Newsfeed and work on making friends. To get to the Community Newsfeed, go to Newsfeed, then along the top of your Personal Newsfeed (the default when you click Newsfeed), you'll see "View the Community Newsfeed." Click that and you'll see what everyone is posting (within your rating limit), not just the 4 people you have fanned. Scroll, Like, comment, and start making friends on the Community Newsfeed. As you start to socialize with the same people over and over and they look forward to your comments, they will be more and more likely to double click your plus sign to become a fan of yours. (Fans see the megaphone. Always consider fanning a person because that notifies them when setting them as a favorite doesn't. That's the finger with the string. You can also make friends through blogging challenges, socializing in the Newbie section, reviewing and responding to reviews (though I think it's a bit harder to find people interested in striking up conversations this way, but it's possible), and participating in other activities. Welcome to WdC and good luck getting reviews and getting folks to see your Newsfeed posts! |
You look lovely in the after picture.
