After 2 years plus at it I finally finished my novel, Osprey Gold. Instead of begging agents and publishers then waiting for many months I lean toward self-publishing with IngramSpark before Christmas. I'm a writer rooted in central Washington. My memoir, I Was an Unsolved Mystery, set in the Pacific Northwest was optioned by Lions Gate Films in 2001. I spent part of the late ’80s living underground in Bend, Oregon, and later became one of the first licensed cannabis growers in Washington State. My current work blends emotional realism with political undercurrents, drawing from lived experience and the quiet pulse of place. Osprey Gold is a novel shaped by legacy, land, hope for American reunification, regionally and nationally. Want to read some? |
