Actually, Jody, I almost did go two weeks ago but the weather forecast was bad for the day I chose so I deferred my visit to yesterday.  |
I feel like that might have been around the same time because my cousins were worried about the weather. It was either supposed to be bad the day before or the day after I was there. It wasn't great the day I was there, but not bad. I don't check the weather, so I didn't know or care. But I guess I'd rather us not be there at the same time and not see each other. I think that would have been worse.  I feel better now. |

| Happy 4th, guys! What is a Flag? What is a flag? A symbol of our hope raised by a cheering crowd of kindred folk who'd rather act to change the world than mope, declaring war to cast aside their yoke. What is a flag? A gaudy spangled cloth that gave the rebels strength to face a king. They stood against the royal army's wroth, a feat like David's duel with a sling. What is a flag? Some bullet-riddled rag once carried into battle by a man, who didn't waste his time on words and brag but bravely stood his ground when others ran. Red, white, and blue entreating men to fight; bright colors calling folk to do what's right. |

| Schnujo's having school probs comment about compression socks hits home. I wear them all the time. Summer, winter, first items on in the morning, last off at night. They are a necessary part of my routine for my leg health. It's sad that people think they can make a quick buck by running off articles with no knowledge of a product or location. I can write about compression, why you need it, the different levels, your vein health, yada yada. |
Well, the people write it because the online businesses pay for it, just like companies pay for phony reviews.  |
| To venture even further down this trail, I've been in my home sick for a few weeks now. And as a result, I'm watching a lot of HULU programs. And of course, they have commercials. I've been commenting to quite a few companies on the banality, stupidity, and sometimes just the downright ugliness of some of the commercials. I mean, really guys. From Pringles to pubic hair. Geez. |

Yes, Jody.  I've been too busy in the real world for the past year. However, I'm currently on holiday in Prague and so got a chance to come back and write a few things. I'll try to stay around but the real world is always pulling me back. |
