I am leaving WDC soon!
That's too bad. Why?
😢Why?😢
Does anyone on WDC, like my writings? My Upgraded Membership expires August, I can't decide to keep on this site, or let my membership run out and expire... I also don't have the means to keep it going
If Writing is your life, as you put it I should try to stay on. Try "Request An Upgrade From RAOK [E] and follow their rules as in ten reviews in the last three months. That's doable, isn't it?
If you do a bunch of reviewing, especially through things that pay more like Auto-Reward Items (under Community) and writing in some people's interactives like dogpack saving 4premium+ (her interactive is innocent, but not all are), you can earn your membership. Plenty of people earn a Premium so if you only have Upgraded, you certainly can. *Smile* It's not easy, but it is doable.

Who else on Writing.com is a trauma-based writer?
I write to escape my trauma.
Steven-I write to get it out of my head, and to keep sane
I'm dealing with what I went through by (slowly) churning out a memoir. I once read on another site that, when writing a memoir/autobiography, you have to ask yourself who it's for. I'd be a bare-faced liar if I said it was for anyone else but me. But, to avoid becoming an obsessive about it, I'm having a go at writing short pieces for various competitions. Just yesterday I had a go at some kid's stuff! *Smile*

I forget to tell people on WDC that March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month!
I'm surprised my 2nd youngest hasn't mentioned it. She's usually Janey-on-the-spot with stuff like that.

Going to Open Mic Night to read a poem of mine! I'm stoked! This is my 2nd time going!
Congratulations, good luck, and most of all, HAVE FUN! *Party*
Have fun!
I just added a writing piece ''What Did I do?" in my portfolio. Go check it out!
You might get more views if you post a direct link. *Bigsmile* You can do that with item or bitem (big item) links. You use the curly brackets...curly braces...dang, suddenly forgot their name, but anyway, the ones above the square brackets on your keyboard. They look like this { }.

You can make several types of links, but the 2 most common are item and bitem links. You'll need the item number of the thing you wrote. If you just wrote it, the item number (and the number of the last 6-8 items) will pop up automatically after the colon. Otherwise, you can get it from the folder or you can open the item and get it from the web address or below the title and above description.

To create the link, it would like this...

{item:2289528} *Right* "Invalid Item

or you can do a more exciting link with...

{bitem:2289528} *Down*

 Invalid Item

Good luck and congratulations on adding another item to your port! *Delight*

I lost information on my question: Can I post quotes and sayings on Wdc? If so, where?
Can someone teach how to blog?
I sent you an email.
Check out my portfolio...added new writing
