I spoke to a beautiful butterfly for a while,
A butterfly that made me blush and smile
and then it fluttered away
And though it could not stay,
I hope it forever will
remain ever still

Every time I look into your eyes I see into you
And feel your heartbeat as my own
Your efforts to lure me are superfluous
I have already read what is in your heart.

I found nothing to fill this hollowness inside
Foolishly thinking I could live off pride
But when I let go of her hand
I felt it,
As a part of me died... |
