Got it. Thank you!
I am currently writing a sequel short story to "A Mentor for A Misfit." It continues the story of Urzo the goblin and his journey as a mage apprentice to Edana Bluestone, an orc mage, in the large city of Idorun. Stay tuned.
I've added a new item to my portfolio: a short story about a police officer trying to catch a thief. Both characters are anthropomorphic animals. The police officer is a cat and the thief is a lynx.

The idea for this story was inspired by the Sly Cooper video games and Casino Night Zone 2 Player Soundtrack (from the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 game on Sega Genesis).

Constructive feedback and reviews are welcome.
I have posted a new short story in my portfolio. It is called "A Mentor for A Misfit." A young goblin seeks a mage to teach him how to use magic and become a mage. He searches for a mentor in a large city. You're welcome to read and review the story.
Sounds interesting.
My short story "Courier's Panic" has been posted. This story is a rough draft. It tells the tale of a dog courier/delivery worker that is struggling to make his first delivery at his first job. He has a difficult time finding his customer and delivery location. The animals in this story are anthropomorphic. They have human qualities, characteristics, and attributes (i.e. wearing clothes, talking like people, thinking and reasoning, etc.). Any honest, positive, constructive feedback is helpful.

This story draws a little bit from my experience having a job as a delivery driver for Panera Bread.
A Mentor for A Misfit is a story about a young goblin leaving his forest home and life in order to become a mage. He seeks a mage to teach him after discovering he can use fire magic. He travels to the nearest city called Idorun, a melting pot of cultures - humans, elves, dark elves, prowlers, dwarves, sprites, orcs, beast men.
Elves. Now, you're talking.
