I won a raffle! This place is great! Now, I just have to get out of my holiday funk and get back to the site, writing, and reviewing. Holidays, while a wonderful time of year, can also be one of the most depressing. Not enough money for buying gifts, family members who are gone too soon, that sort of thing. It hits me harder some years than others. I tend to go off the radar when my depression hits. If you don't hear from me for weeks at a time, know that I am battling that emotional demon. I've been trying to claw my way out this past week and I am slowly coming back around. Hellos to everyone.
It was the out of this world raffle. I didn't even know I was in it. Andy Christmas Cometh purchased the ticket for me, how sweet! This is such a nice place.
I have been selected as one of the lucky people to be in the Newbies Academy Showcase Forum. I am sooo excited about that! I also won a review package from my auction. Myself and a friend get five short story reviews. Here's the problem, I need a friend to give the other five reviews to. If you would like to be my friend for the other reviews, please email me. To be honest, I will probably select the first person who contacts me for this. Thank you to Ash for the review package and to SW Sophie for the Newbies Showcase.

Well, she said that she thank you for "Newbies Academy Showcase Back SOON!"  so, it sounds reasonable to me. I mean, I would do that as appreciation that's why I suggested it. That's just my way of thinking, I don't know about the others. I've been there once and I know how awesome the feeling is *Smile*.

Finally got Piboidmo done! Haven't been feeling well. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! Will have to check emails and such in depth tomorrow and respond. I am about beat now.

. I have never written so much poetry in my life as I have since joining WDC! Maybe I'm a poet and didn't know it ;) ha ha ha ha ha
Ok so I just finished editing my story and instead of five different short stories, I placed them all in one story. It's kind of long, but if you like teen fantasy, then please review it and let me know what you think. I have already gotten a long way into the sequel to this one. I like to write these stories because I don't even know what is going to happen! It's like I start watching a movie in my mind and I write down what I see. After I have finished writing for a session, I am amazed at how the story came out so much different than I thought it would. Does this ever happen to anyone else? Or am I just plain "nuts"?

My goals this weekend, are to catch up on piboidmo, review at least one person's story, finish editing my story and posting it, and most importantly, not to leave the house!

Sorry I haven't been around much, I've been very busy. I have a question, I am participating in PiBoIdMo, but I have missed several days in a row of participating. I want to know if I can go back and make up the days that I missed and still have it count. I hope so!

When I did October NaNo prep we had to write also some kind of query letter. Here are the links we had within the prep challenge. query letter   and more query letters  . But, I think Cubbs will get it right, she is good at it *Smile*
