They convince him to shut up and write
I am learning how to be a better writer. It would be neat if Ernie, Sam, Bill, and Edith came to me in dreams and gave me their best advice. That sounds like a story idea.
Good luck with that dream story. It sounds like a good one. I think you get to be a better writer by trying to be better. :)
