Well, we seem to have a few things in common. I too teach at a middle school. Special Education English Language Arts/Reading 6-8. I am in the process of writing my first novel aimed at 5th-8th grade students. It is an adventure story set in the Smokey Mountains. The beginning of it is in my portfolio. I would love for you to give it a read and let me know what you think... Thanks for helping out a Newbie...
