...And after a long hiatus, I'm back! Since I took a break, I've published a collection of short stories, After Dark, and my first novel, Fates' Fury, releases on the 30th of this month! I'm so excited *BigSmile*

I'm looking forward to getting back into reviewing, and updating my portfolio, so watch this space!

I am feeling so blessed to have the next few Wednesday's off work to focus solely on my writing!
I've added a new entry to my book, "Invalid Item" :
         "Invalid Entry" 
Firstly, I just want to say ~Lest We Forget~ as it is ANZAC day here in Australia! It always makes me feel sad, but grateful. I think coming from a long line of military service, I do feel a strong bond to this day and wanted to share it with you :)

My question is...Does anyone else struggle with writing a good synopsis? I don't know what it is, but for me it's reminiscent of being haunted in uni by the dreaded introduction.....I could write thousands of words for essays and reports without too much drama - except for the introduction! Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom they can share, or sites to recommend?

This is a daunting task ! I would start with the main character leading up to the dilemma without giving away the story... a bit from each chapter , then break it down.

No matter how I try, the creative juices don't seem to flow as rapidly unless I out pen to paper. I was wondering if any of you find this to be the case also?
I was like this even while I was at uni - I could stare at the computer screen blankly, frustrated. But turn away from it and pick up a pen, and the floodgates open!?
Probably not the most efficient way to write.....
I am absolutely thrilled to have been promoted to 'preferred author' status! It really could not have come at a better time. I am so grateful for this amazing site, and all of the people in it.
