Learning a new typing system: the Charachorder One. Still quite slow, but improving all the time.
Impressive. I hope your speed improves. That's what it's meant to do after all.
It's a keyboard with five-way switches instead of keys. Each finger can go forwards, backwards, left, right, or down. It means that there's much less strain on the hands and wrists.

The new layout does take a bit of getting used to – it feels odd to move my fingers side-to-side rather than tapping at the keys. But even just two days in, I'm noticing much less pain in my hands after typing. And I haven't even started on chording yet (typing whole words with a single key combo).
WHOA! That sounds crazy! I've never heard of it, but am glad to hear that it's really helping your pain! Congratulations and good luck!
