A long time ago I began a novella about a young girl. Like Angelique, another writer's heroin, my Gallia was both ravishing and nearly ravished over and over. Notice I said nearly. The story is only slightly R rated, by the way. When my imagination got "stuck," I removed the story from my portfolio.

Having time now to work on it, the first segment is posted once again. Because I'm offering what I hope are generous gift points, perhaps some of you might read and give me your helpful suggestions on how to improve the story.

I am working on the next five chapters and will post them soon. Thank you.

This morning I returned one more novel to my portfolio. It is for sale on Amazon as an eBook, but I really have sold enough to keep my mob in cat food. So, it's now back here for members to read for free.

Because it might be a bit racy for some readers, all the entries are rate XGC. This novel was fun to write, and I do hope fun for you to read.

Today I upgraded my portfolio back to Premium. This lets me repost the original entries for many of my eBooks for sale on Amazon, which lets WdC members read these for free. So far I've done this to two of the three novels in my Home of the trilogy.

I am hoping any new readers of these will enjoy my stories about Walker and the rest of the people living on his estate.

FOLDER
Home of the Red Fox  (E)
A novel about Walker’s mansion for unwanted elderly people.

All you WdC procrastinators needing a last minute gift, why not send an eBook or two to your family and friends?

I'm partial to my own books, so here's a link to the first in the trilogy about Walker, the man who could be Santa in disguise. Feel free to check out my remaining five eBooks on Amazon.

Thank you and Happy Christmas to one and all.

There is a new story in my forensic series I just posted to my Writing.com portfolio. Because it's in the draft stage, any constructive comments for improvement are greatly appreciated.

If you are curious and have the time, please check out the highlighted item at the top entitled "Smoke and Mirrors."

Thanks to not being able to resist today's The Writer's Cramp prompt, I quickly wrote a new story this morning. Have I ever mentioned I really like this particular contest?

I found Magnus to be adorable - he should have more adventures now that he has a sidekick and both cats can boss their human around. *Laugh*
Anyone started their Christmas shopping yet? Last week I mailed a Christmas box full of electronic goodies back to New England for my niece and her husband. The box was sent much earlier than November since my feline mob kept crawling into the open box to investigate.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed they like the Roku 3 and the 3 TB external hard drive along with the other smaller items. Maybe I'm just a mean aunt, but I want their home to look like the "worm nest" of cords and cables that my office resembles in the picture below.

I do get inspired by some of "The Writer's Cramp daily prompts. Today's gave me a chance to add more about one of the children Walker and Samantha adopted. I hope you enjoy this new entry in my portfolio about Genji Hua.

After a long dry spell, I just wrote and posted a new short story in my portfolio. It's for a prompt contest that's linked at the bottom of the story. Maybe you'd also like to enter that member's first contest.

This is the early story of one child among many who found his way to Hannah's Home.

It's been some time since I felt the urge to write, but today's Writer's Cramp prompt inspired me.The non-fiction piece below is about a move I made from Oakland to Sebastopol with half a dozen cats. Trust me, I'll never do that again.

I must have been insane to do this, even with friends.

As someone who constantly entered The Writer's Cramp since 2005, I want to thank the person who came up with this particular contest. It gives me an opportunity put into writing how much The Cramp has given me over the years.

What The Writer's Cramp has meant to me  (E)
For years I've entered this daily contest, and now I'd like to explain why I do this.

I've merged three segments of an older 2009 erotic story into one static item. Since it's overly raunchy, the story needs some toning down before I add it as the next piece in my forensic series, The Best and Worst of Times. To tighten up any plot holes, I've also saved each and every review to help me do this.

If you'd like to read it before I take a sharp editing knife to it, I now invite you into the deep, dark recesses of my imagination. Feedback is always welcome.

Whew! To work on my 2014 financial budget, I cleaned out my portfolio to downgrade from Premium to Upgraded status. Do you have any idea how long it takes to delete items from over 500 to below 250? It's done now, mainly older Images and original stories now integrated into my various e-books.

When was the last time any of you cleaned out your portfolio?

If you have the time, I invite you to poke around my Facebook Author's page. To keep from boring people on my regular Facebook page, I later created that second one.

Here I can bore people about my various Writing.com pieces and and e-books listed on Amazon and Smashwords.com. Come on by and share your thoughts. (friendly smile)

I just wrote a quick letter for the contest about breast cancer month, which is linked at the bottom of the entry. As always with a new item in my portfolio, I'm offering a "bribe" of gift points to entice a review out of members.
