The heritage of Memorial Day gives all of us something to be thankful for!
Well, as usual, I tried for a poem-a-day last week, and only wrote 3-4 before losing momentum. I will try again this week and see how successful I am! Probably, part of my ongoing discipline needs to be to ENTER THEM INTO WDC and not just keep them hidden in my pocket notebook! Hmmm....
I have written mine for today; for the Cramp. I have tried poem-a-day off and on since 2009 with minor success. It keeps my mine lubricated by use. Wish I could keep it up on a regular basis. That may be too structured for my soul!
Just keep up with From The Ground Up and I'll be happy. (smile)
I plan to keep up with that great class; it will be my inspiration for the poem-a-day thing! That and the beloved cramp entries. They are certainly the bulk of my 500+ sized port. . . .
I am one of the lucky students in Karen's Beginning Poetry Class. I thought that it was high time that I have a little formal education in poetry! So far, the class is great and my experience of poetry is enhanced by reading the first lesson and contemplating my own definition of poetry in the greater world. Great fun!! And Karen is a super teacher; more of an encourager and facilitator than someone requiring wrote learning. Great class!
