Having a rough and very emotional day....and it is so totally affecting my writing. Trying to get the words out yet stuck. Really hoping that I can still do a good job on my Construct Cup poem!! I am trying so hard to use these emotions and feelings to my advantage...if that even makes any sense....so I guess we shall see what I can come up with.

Sorry for the rant......just needed to vent!!
Dig down deep and let it flow. Sometimes my best work comes when I'm in an emotional state *Pthb* I know Ren said this was a super duper challenge, but I have to disagree. This perhaps is one of the most challenging *Shock*

Vent as needed. You are amongst writers who understand the fickle nature of creativity and how RL can interlope upon it ^^

Hi Family!!

I have been lucky enough to receive a new laptop so now I can finally do everything on here that I couldn't before! I am working very hard on the Construct Cup and trying to catch up on everything I need to do....so if I owe you something or you have not gotten a reply from me please email me and let me know so I can right the situation. Having a new laptop makes me feel like a better writer because I CAN do so much more now finally!! Ahhhh this is sooooo much better!!

Hiya Peeps!!~ I thought I would say hello to everyone and see how everyone is doing!

Things in my life are chaotic as usual BUT....I am finally able to say that I am starting to SEE the changes, learning and growing that I am doing lately and can honestly say....I LIKE feeling these feelings and emotions...I WANT to continue on this amazing journey I am on of self discovery and cannot wait to see what is next!!

Also for anyone who has tried reaching Patrece ~ Author Icon she wanted me to let ya'll know that she is away from the computer for quite some time as she is in my kitchen cooking a real, from scratch Italian dinner for us all to have and be able to try! The smells coming from my kitchen are amazing...can't wait to try it out!!

Ok so I know I am not technically a newbie anymore.,..however I have a question....I had been seeing all sorts of posts and things about the 2016 Quill Awards and then it all kinda halted....or did I miss it? Dang it, I was so wanting to be apart of it...I hope I have not missed it! Is there a final list of nominations or any information about this? Just wondering...first year and I am excited to see what it is all about!!
I think that Andrew hasn't been around much lately and no, you didn't miss it. Feel free to check the link to find more info about nominations "The Quills" . However, if you have been nominated you will receive an email about it and when the ceremony will start. It's not for certain yet *Smile*.

You haven't missed it. As Minja said, Andrew Author Icon hasn't been around much lately, busy with real life stuff.

The nominations are up at "Invalid Item" . The only ones missing from that are Best Reviewing and Special Contributions.

When Jay's debut novel is out now! Author Icon has a chance to create the 2015 nominees signatures, I'll send cnotes to all the nominees to make sure they know about their nomination and to let them know about the signature.

Andrew was supposed to be organising judges for the various categories and I simply don't know where he got to with that. I could start again from scratch with judges I suppose and try to get as much done as possible for when Andrew gets a chance to return.

Hello Everyone!!

I just wanted to kind of check in and let everyone know I am still here....please do not think that I fell off or burnt out! I have not!! I have just had a LOT of things going on in life right now that is very important and need my attention. I am so sorry for not being as active....I feel like I am letting people down and failing....I am going to be hopefully taking care of these life issues soon...I am still waiting to see the back surgeon.

Just asking to not give up on me please....Please!!
