Yep, I'm alive.

And I've added a new entry to my book, "Invalid Item" :

It took me forever to talk myself into taking the first step, but I finally did it. I opened my Etsy shop today.

For The Words is a shop designed for writers just like me. I am still stocking the shelves, but I plan to sell stationary for snail mailers, planner templates for all types of planners (monthly, daily, yearly, bullet journals, so on and so forth), and eventually, I may start selling items related to world-building and the writing process.

For now, my primary focus is stationary.

So, if everyone could take a moment and check out my shop, I'd be very appreciative.

I'm awake, the kids are still asleep, and the sun hasn't even risen yet, so let's get this day going!

Today's Task List is:

*Box* Post blog post: What Are You Reading? (not WDC blog)
*Box* Finish setting up my September bullet journal
*Box* Finish laying out last few scenes of "Welcome to Prosperity"
*Box* Get Anna and Sammy to try on all school uniforms for size issues
*Box* Make out September grocery list
*Box* Review 5 items on WDC

There are actually more things on my list, but these are the ones that I need to get done either today or before Monday. The rest can be pushed back until after the craziness of Monday is over. (First day of school)

Gearing up to write this morning, right after my morning caffeine shot. *Coffee*

Today's task list is as follows:

*Box* Finish outlining "The Selkie"
*Box* Determine new scenes and story order for "Welcome to Prosperity"
*Box* School open house at 4 PM and 5 PM (2 different schools on opposite sides of county)
AND
*Box* Review at least ten items (I can almost afford an upgraded 3-month membership with gift points.)

What's on your task list for today?

I have to longhand everything because the computer distracts me so much, and with all the kids home from school, I do good to get 500 words down a day. Going to try to hit up a few more reviews once I get the rest of this school paperwork filled out that we got at open house tonight.

Pfft, I won't write that in one day. Not a workday anyway. I'm hoping to get a poem and a review done today, then do the rest tomorrow (which is Saturday in my part of the world).
I spent hours grinding wheat, cooking and looking for a library book.

I disappeared again. Went through Hell, and now I am back.

Trying to get back into the swing of it all, but still not 100% feeling it.

I still need to upgrade, and I need to get back into the rhythm of my favorite groups and discussion boards, but I am back.

Who missed me?
It's getting better. Husband just up and decided that he didn't want to be here anymore. Packed his stuff and left, leaving me with four kids, no job, no car. There has been a lot of scrambling done over the last couple of months.

*Shock* Oh no! I can't even imagine how hard that's been for you.
It's getting better. Still no full-time, out-of-the-house job, but child support has kicked in, my autistic son's disability has been approved, and I'm making a bit of extra money with my book sales. I just got to keep the income snowballing until I have some padding on my savings.

LOL, but I went into it with an outline and everything. It just completely derailed somewhere around 20K words.
It's supposed to be a mess. I keep telling you that. lol I have in all caps PUT NAME HERE, or maybe (THIS IS 2ND TRIP, SWAP IT OUT) Things like that. lol
It's almost the end of 2016, which means that the 2017 edition of The Daily Prompt is up for sale.
