The first chapter of Meet Me in the Woods. Inspired by the song of the same name by lord huron. The story follows an unsure college dropout named Joseph Wilman. When returned back to his hometown in northern Indiana he finds the town changed. Mostly in good ways, but there is one change unsettling. Soon disappearances take their toll onto the small little town of Sunset Valley. Joseph decide to join with a few old friends from high school to help him defeat the darkness that resides in the darkness. He's seen what the darkness does. Say good by to who he was, because there ain't language for the things he's seen.
