Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! It’s been a HUGE year for me - very busy and difficult to come online to reconnect. I was quarantined in Jamaica with COVID, moved (again), settled into my new job and took on lots of new responsibilities, spent time on our 40 acres (planting trees, clearing out a new fire pit), took a van trip to Canada, and started a small business! I’m still writing, but mostly on pen and paper now.

Oh! I suppose one other big thing happened last year that I should note… I got engaged! *Ring1* *BigSmile* *HeartV* Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

My reMarkable tablet came today!!!! *InLove*



I love writing by hand, but always have to transcribe my poetry onto the computer when I’m ready to post. Now, reMarkable will do the transcribing for me! And I can jot notes in the margins of website pages and PDFs *Ha* If you can’t tell, I’m totally nerding out! *Laugh*

I know this news will likely be overshadowed by election talk, but I wanted to tell everyone who knew him that Airplane1285 Author IconMail Icon passed away yesterday. He was recently diagnosed with epilepsy (see his blog: "flier's Ramblings." ). I am in contact with his family to help them go through the process of having Flier’s account memorialized, but doing so is obviously not a priority right now.

Flier was the first member from WDC I met in person, so losing him is a major shock. If you knew him in any capacity, please keep his family in your thoughts *HeartW*
