This has needed a new banner for a long time. I was able to use Canva to update it.
It's only August and I'm already anxious for NaNoWriMo. I've tried to - or at least dreamed about - planning a YA sci-fi trilogy, the first book I was originally going to write during the April edition of Camp NaNoWriMo, then July. ... Yeah, didn't happen. But doggone it, I'm gonna do it!!! I've started a bullet journal for writing/NaNoWriMo and trying to figure out what all to put in it. *Writing* *PenG* *Pencil*
I'm starting to plan a story about a geek sidekick-intern who suddenly has to take on the role of superhero when her assigned hero is caught along with several other heroes.

But I'm trying to figure out the villain's motivation. What causes her to capture the heroes? How did she become a villain in the first place? I was thinking that she was once a superhero, too, but something happened.

What could have happened? Your thoughts?
The supervillain created all the superheroes.

Practicing procrastination. I have two homework assignments I need to finish--one due before midnight--but all I can do is update some blog drafts on my writing/reading blog. And make duct tape wallets.

My goal was to try to write one short story a week for the year, but so far I haven't been able to finish a single story, and I somehow didn't write at all last week. But I won't dwell on it. I'll just try again this week and keep on going.
Me, too! Procrastinating on homework. What classes are you taking? Did you finish that homework, yet?

iluvhorses Author Icon, I'm taking Educational Linguistics, Morphology and Syntax, and Exploring Concepts in Biology. I'm sure I did get that homework finished. As for the writing, it's been weeks and I can't remember to do it! Yeek! Well, like you said, I'll try again.
Hmmm... a thought: What sort of occupation could a *WitchHat* witch *WitchHat* have that would allow her to be wealthy and famous? I'm considering a story called *WitchHat* "Witch and Famous" *WitchHat*, after a t-shirt I saw at the store the other day.
