Life is good!

I seldom read the news feed because it's filled with so much negativity, rants against the American president, people reporting how sick they have become, people complaining that there is too much they have to do... well, I just want to say, that despite having one foot in the grave... my life is good!

I used to enjoy watching Morning Joe Show but she has completely ruined it with her psychotic anti-Trump rants. Yeah, I get it, everybody at MSNBC and CNN is paid to say nothing but anti-Trump garbage. Nevermind if there is real news to report.

Donald, you are doing what you were elected to do, but the obstructionists are numerous and powerful. Good luck to you in wading through all the ____ they are throwing at you.

You have a Psych. degree? Good on you. You didn't comprehend everything apparently. My analysis is dead on with world-renowned psychiatrists so don't degrade me. He's an adulterer, liar, misogynist, juvenile, and narcissist. He's irreprehensible. Never being a politician is so NOT an excuse. I'm actually surprised you'd even go there. It's snowing here!

Big giant fluffy flakes!

Weird, since it didn't snow all winter and now the azaleas are in bloom. The pear trees blooming is already over! The trees are green. It reached 80 F last week.

Wouldn't it be strange if the new norm for weather became violent swings between hot and cold?

App for writing on tablets?

Can you recommend an Amazon app that will be useful for writing stories?

All the ones I see in the store are like to-do lists and short notes and there are hundreds of different apps.
There's OfficeSuite  , which functions much like Microsoft Word as a text editor. I linked the free version, but there's also a Pro version for $20. Not sure about the different capabilities of the two.

I haven't used this one, but there's also AndrOpen Office  . I'm sure there are more along these lines scattered throughout the Amazon store.
Telemarketer chat bots getting too sophisticated? Danger, Will Robinson?

I listened to the spiel of a chat bot this morning that called me and marveled at how good they have gotten. It asked me a few questions and understood what I said. Then it said it would transfer me to an agent, which I assumed would be human so I made a little joke...

AGENT: Good morning, I am yada yada yada...

ME: Good morning! Are you a real human?

AGENT: *long silence* Hello?

ME: Hello.

AGENT: *silence*

ME: Hello? Hello?

AGENT: *dial tone*

Oh no! Was the "agent" also a chatbot? Did one chatbot transfer me to another chatbot? It's getting scary, mommy!
