Hi Sara,

At the top of your story, you'll see a number. This is a unique identifier. If you click on it twice, it'll show you {item:########} and tell you it's taken a copy. This can then be pasted in the newsfeed to give a shortcut people can click to get to the story quickly. For example, {item:2353203} gives the link "The Job" 

If you stick a b in there, i.e. {bitem:2353203},the link will give even more info:
