I've added a new entry to my book, "ในสวนของเลียม" : "In Taipei "
On my way to Seattle.. long flight.
Safe travels.
"Peace is more than an end to war..." So why were negotiations broken off with Iran? Why was this war necessary?
The ONLY thing this radical regime fears or respects is POWER. Anything less is weak. Ever since the radical mullahs and the IRGC (Islamic Republican Guard) took control, they have lied, stalled, bargained, threatened, attacked by proxy, murdered, imprisoned or poisoned any opposition to the Islamic state. From infancy, the brainwashing indoctrination begins. You don't know what you don't know. Only hatred for all Jews, especially "The Great Satan." (USA) They will NEVER comply with honesty. The entire world except for maybe China, Russia and North Korea will sleep better when the people of Persia are allowed the freedom to choose, speak freely without fear of persecution.
I'm glad the bugs are being worked on. Change is difficult and I was concerned that if this site becomes difficult, unstable, or less private I'd have to go elsewhere. My social media content has already been scanned, but I live for connection and I'm not ready to become a hermit.
https://web.facebook.com/photo?fbid=26365496153058326&set=a.101069823260984 On the street where I'm staying. What do you see? |
A boar-like panda is riding reverse back on a unicorn that has a cow’s hanging udders, while it chases a seahorse, with its cape and a small round cloud of dust. Below that, a sophisticated anthropomorphic elephant, or a duck reverse riding the neck of a sparrow holding a white-frosted glass of margarita. If elephant, offering something like a fan, while smoking a pipe reverse neck. And, below that a cowardly lion is trying to get out of there. There’s more, but I’ll end here.
Not too late...

It's strange... After 20 years here I still haven't bothered to learn the in-and-outs of the website. Since I crave connections, you'd think... But what's a connection? I will meet many people just once. And on-line? Most connections are feeble. I did try something new last night. FB can put posts on hold, so I tried that. Scheduled a video for 3-something in the morning. Had over 400 views while I was sleeping. Very different demographics... top six countries: Italy, Poland, Algeria, Greece, Hungary, Serbia. And young people! Mostly I reach old geezers like me.
So... gnus... 1. Thailand elects a new government. Had provisionary results a couple hours after polls closed. 2. Super Bowl or not? On at 6 a.m. here. No, I didna watch. I doubt anyone cares about Thailand or Thais (the tourists sure don't) but the SUPER BOWL was decisive and the halftime show was baaaaaaad WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THE SUPER BOWL?

S🤦♂️ "Eleanor Rugby died on the field and was cherished along with the game. Everyone came." All apologies to the Beatles.
I'm puzzled by what is watched on bookface. This "reel" has 990 views! A thousand would be nicer. Usually 80-90% of views come from the US with Thailand on the list. https://web.facebook.com/reel/2310241062794242 This? Greece, Italy, Germany! Nothing above 10%. Thailand not on the list... To promote my poetry, I'll have to read it out-loud. Noa once suggested a podcast. *sigh*
| In the midst of silence for Shaziane Codrington It was tiny hidden beneath cooling flesh the bones of it hushed before the frost of autumn untimely death shed as earth clothed itself with ermine, diamonds, to stay the north-wind's breath. It became tinier so tiny time itself passed over it. Small, smaller than a mote in God's eternal Eye. The stars forgot it. The oceans missed it as they counted each humble grain of sand— twice; and yet, quiet, quieter in this stillness of the uncaring void it is within the midst of silence that the soul finds its voice. © Kåre Enga 2010-08-30 [167.186] Note: Based on Shaziane Codrington's quote "It is within the midst of silence that the soul finds its voice".

From Huffpost: "When you feel attached to someone who is suddenly quiet during a time of “collective universal harm” it feels like relational abandonment, Shandy Anway added. An influencer who may have been there for their followers through breakups and pregnancy, trips and home renovations, is suddenly not there during another important moment." Perhaps the same here at WDC. Many of us have been in harms-way most of our lives. Recent events trigger traumas ... some generational. "I have no opinion" comes off as I don't care whether you live or die. Just a reminder to people who have the privilege of turning a blind eye.
I've been traveling in Thailand since January 8th. I've tried to post photos and/or videos every day. I have many WDC followers/friends on FB (since 2010) but wouldn't mind more. https://www.facebook.com/kare.enga.9/ VIDEO: Popsicle making machine. 266 views but no comments. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1300126158605293 Avocado smoothie pictures. 122 views no comments. https://www.facebook.com/kare.enga.9/posts/pfbid02BCyBhN3cTkTgvx8eZb3AVgPhyDkqsp... My conclusion: people will value me more when I'm dead than while I'm alive.

Brandiwyn🎶 Thanks for posting. A nice break on a snowy afternoon. I looked up both places.
