Well, I decided to take a little bit of time to enter The Last Pen Standing contest so I wrote Permeation. I hope it is not too out of this world.
160,000 words, 25 chapters, and I still probably have double both of them left until the first part of the series is finished. And then there is the editing. Endless editing... I am toying with the idea of posting a few chapters, but I have not been able to come to a decision. Long weekend coming up, hopefully I can add 50,000 words or so, though that number seems very generous. Updates soon!
Alright... my initial thought that I could have a story culminate around 300,000 words turns out to be a fantasy. With various talks and opinions from others, it is looking like The Lost Prince will be a collection of at least three novels, assuming that after editing it is decided to cut out words instead of add them. Updates soon!
A little over 100,000 words into The Lost Prince novel about our favorite hero Kareth. I am assuming that it will be somewhere between 200,000 and 300,000 words as a completed novel.
Well, I finally put up the piece I had been working on, though I have to say I am not entirely happy with it. I had imagined it would go somewhere else, but I suppose it will have to do. I figured if I didn't just post it as it was, I never would.
