I seem to be on a roll.... In 4 weeks, I've put out two short stories. No Idea how I've done that, but there you go...
I've just edited an item in my portfolio:

BOOK
Welcome to a new writer's capers!  (E)
My reading and writing capers. What am I reading and writing?
Edited
I'm new to this place and new to writing. I've just finished my first short story. Just checking in etc., Am I ok to post it in Portfolio and make it public for all to see, read and generally rip apart...! *BigSmile* Should it go in as a "Static Item" or in Upgraded "Books"? Its about 8000 words. Give or take

Many thanks and happy writing...

BW
Hi,

Welcome to the funhouse. As you are, like me, an upgraded member, you have a limit of 10 books in your portfolio. So if your work is a stand-alone piece and not part of a larger work, it'd be best to just make it a static item and save the books for when you need them.
Reviewing an 8,000 word piece is hard. If your story breaks down into logical parts/chapters, you should consider making chunks of about 2,000 words or fewer.
