Was leaving work last night at 7:20, not terrible, but a 12-hour day nonetheless. Fell in the parking lot. No, I didn't trip on a rock. I just fell. I hit my face, broke a tooth in front and spent the night in the hospital. They released me at 5 a.m. They claim it was 'dehydration' but that doesn't sound right. I'm on observation today; no strenuous work. But they have to have me there.
Then how were you able to babble last night?

Very sad day. My marriage partner's best friend is a woman named Jill. They grew up near each other and were one year apart in school. Jill's brother died of a heart attack today. He was 49. I didn't know him well, but what I did know of him, I respected. Please join me in several moments of silence and remembrance.

Today is Christmas. The most-hyped, media-driven 'holiday' in the world. I will go along with the traditional gift-giving, but merely shake my head at the goings-on. At least I have one positive - the month is almost over. Thanks to my WDC friends for helping keep me sane and not in the negatives for most of the depressing month. MWAH!
