I noticed a few horror stories in your portfolio, so I wanted to stop in and let you know about some of the great spooky contests going on right now to celebrate the month of Halloween!

"SCREAMS!!!" 
This is a contest for horror writers with a daily prompt to get your creative juices flowing!

"'SCREAMS!!!' HALLOWEEN CONTEST!" 
In the same theme as the above daily contest, a special month-long, Halloween-themed contest is running as well!

"Invalid Item" 
If the contests above didn't catch your fancy, this one is hosted by a new member like yourself and the prompt for October is "Success at Any Cost."
