Draft/Quick write. Dream.

The creature chose only one soul at a time. Intimidating and frightening, fascinating. Some seemingly sub-human being with the head of a raven, tall and lanky body, and long legs with spurs. It's only reason for existing is to sort out us human folk that are lost and fearful, to expose our unknowns, so to face those fears and embrace the darkness within. Like marking off names on it's list, it's next prospect is sought. No escape and knowing, shaking with fear and excitement, nervously I approach my guide. We're off in some sort of carriage to the dark skies exposing shadows to light.
