I have been a member for a while now, but when my son passed away I walked away from everything. I am ready to start writing again, but I can't remember much about how to navigate the site. Can you point me to the beginning classes again? I left in May of 2015, so it has been a while. I miss the place. I really loved being here and taking classes and chatting with everyone.

I can't say enough about the outpouring of support that I have received from the wonderful people of WDC. I needed time and you gave it to me and I may need a bit more. We will just have to see. I am at peace when it comes to where my son is, but I struggle with my grief. We are all grieving in different ways. I never realized the different ways people grieve until I lost my son. I have lost people close to me before, but nothing like this. This is just not right. We are not supposed to bury our children.

Thank you for allowing me to take the time I needed to take before coming back and getting involved again. I feel like I let you all down, but I just could not do normal things. I just couldn't do it. I know you all understand.

I've been gone a while and am just hearing about your loss. I'm so sorry. There's really nothing anyone can say at a time like this. But, I do know how strong your faith is and it will bring you through. You now have another guardian angel on your shoulder, and though he's not here, he's all around you. We love you!
I have to say that I am sorry that I have not been here and that I have not done the reviews that I was supposed to do. I will get them done this week and I will get to the "Invalid Item"  contest as well.
My son died on the 7th and I have not been able to function and I am still unable to function, but I wanted to tell you all what was going on and to tell you that I have not forgot you guys.
My son was messing with a gun and it went off and shot him and he didn't make it. He was only 23 and leaves a daughter of 3 behind and a young wife. If you are a praying person then I ask you to please pray for our family. We are devastated.

Thank you all for your kind words and condolences. I am having a very hard time right now and didn't get the reviews done like I thought I would be able to do. I am sorry about that, but all I can think about is my son and the circumstances around his death. I am doing better this week though and feel like I can start doing a little bit, so please bear with me as I get through everything I need to do. I am a little behind right now, but I will get it done. If I can't do it this week I will find someone else to do it for me.

I have one person that needs a partner that is willing to write a story with him/her within a few days (before the contest is over). I am willing to give a few more days for you to turn it in. This person really wants to write for "Invalid Item"  and you would be really helping us out by joining this person by teaming up with them. Please consider writing a short story as a team. It ends the last day of February and there has not been too many people interested in it this round, but my computer has been in the shop most of these last couple of months and I have been pretty sick.
