As Proximus Ceasar said: "What a wonderful day!"
Was that before or after one of those pesky Ninja Monkeys hit him in the head with a banana peel?
Soldier_Mike Author Icon - must have been before. If it was after, he would have said, "What a wonderful shot!"
Would you rather...

Only be able to tell the truth, but never be believed?

Or

Always be believed, but only be able to lie?

I would tell the Truth.
I might as well plump for the second option - it offers more possibilities for entertainment.
Isn't that how things are now? It seems the truth is not believed nowadays and the lies are taken as truth!

Even so, I'll stick to telling the truth unless it concerns a female asking me if her current wardrobe makes her butt look fat!
Thanks for the GPs, Anonymous *Bigsmile*
A big thank you to whoever nominated my story for a Quill award. It is an honour to be nominated and I am truly grateful to the Writing.com community for all the excellent advice over the years.

It's a particularly excellent crop of work this year, so please check out all the nominees and finalists.
'Andor' is ridiculously good, both as Star Wars and as television. Keep it up, Disney-owned Lucasfilm.
Thanks for the GPs, Anonymous!
Just curious. Does anyone else prefer writing their fast draft longhand? If so, do you notice any difference in your writing style or thought processes compared to typing?
Writing longhand takes me a long time to accomplish and when I'm finished it is difficult to read what I wrote. I can write better, faster, and more accurately via computer keyboard.
I do enjoy writing longhand, but I prefer typing especially for a first draft. Mostly because it's much easier to edit and move things around without having to cross out or erase. I used to write by hand more often though.
