The first draft of chapter one of my fantasy novel is nearly complete at 1,747 words. The draft for a large section of one (but probably two) of the final chapters was completed some time ago (originally as chapter one).

I am also feeling increasingly confident about the uniqueness and interesting character of the Clarndor Race, who will feature in the first novel. So confident in fact, that I am becoming concerned about their lack of prominence in the second and third novels in the series.
