So, now I am residing in the beautiful state of Georgia! Alot has happened, but God's got some big plans.
Intuey, I am about 20 miles from Gainesville!

Asha, its beautiful and people are very sweet. It's more of a winter than i was used to in Louisiana. However, it's awesome!

Lynda, I will surely tell you :

People are really nice here. That's one of the things I love about it. It's also a beautiful place. You should go visit Helen, as soon as it warms up a bit. It's really beautiful up there *Smile* I live in Pendergrass right now. I'll be living in Gainesville in about three months or so .. well, it's actually Chestnut Mountain. What town are you living in?

I've added a new short story to my portfolio. Below is an account of my second car accident. I wanted to share it to show God's hand in all things. There is always light in the darkness, and I felt it was important to share that testimony. This was written more as a form of therapy for me, but I wanted to share it because it was one of the most excruciating times in my life, but God carried me through it. What better way to celebrate him than to remember where he's brought us from?

So, today I backed into a car. This was the first, and hopefully last, time that's happened. It was a true accident, and thankfully it was a woman's car that I am close with. But, the entire time I kept getting flashes of my second car accident and the pain, the car flipping, and the two people in the front who died. It played in my mind on a loop, and nobody understood why I was so upset since it only left a dent. Positive of the night? The experience helps a story in working on.
Oh my goodnes. What a horrible thing for you to go through. I'm just glad it was a very small incedent.

My first reaction was stopped by biting my tongue. Then I made sure she was aware that revenge comes when least expected. She may be five, but she knows what she's getting herself into. Sibling rivalry isn't pretty. War on.
This weekend I get to prepare a presentation on disability awareness. Fun part? I have to explain it all to children from ages 3-12. This will be an exciting project.
Can they do hands on? We did one for Girl Scouts with young kids and we let them experience different things like being blind and such. I know disabilities go much deeper than that but ...
Yeah there will be hands on! That's a great idea! :)

Are you kidding me! *Delight* Libraries and bookstores are just awesome. I walk into one, see all the books, and I just want to cry because I can't have them all. *Laugh*
I have that same issue ENB Author IconMail Icon! I try to make my visits to bookstores when I don't have a whole lot of money to spend or else I would spend everything I had and then more. When the books call out...how do you say no? It's impossible.

So, have you heard about the amazing auction called "Invalid Item" ? There are some great packages available. Some of the packages are priced for higher gps, but I was thinking that if we went in on a package with someone else, then we would have a better chance of winning that package and then we would split it between the two or three or however many of us.
