Hello from the the deeper abyss of Anatomy and Physiology....and I thought Medical Terminology was tough  ! On the other hand, just finished mid term with a 100%...thanks to a very interactive and interesting instructor. I am very grateful to have this class out of the way in time for G.o.T! Sheesh...feeling very much like a newbie again. That said...I'm still here...just have a little more patience with me, and looking forward to getting back in the swing of things... s |
| Finally done with Medical Terminology...94 on the final and 95 for the class....SO GLAD THAT'S OVER!!! Anatomy and Physiology starts Monday. Should be a cake walk after Med. Term! My happiness is tempered with sadness and shock and grief at losing Jen~  ...She was the major inspiration behind Inquiring Minds....her baby, I just ran with it... My heart is broken and my prayers with her family...      RIP, my friend. |
Okie dokie then! Today and tomorrow to review then Final on Thursday for Medical Terminology...it will be nice not to break words apart in my dreams  ...LOL Cannot wait for the weekend! See you all then!! |
Howdy Everyone from the Abyss That IS Medical Terminology   !This class has been an interesting roller coaster ride of prefixes, suffixes, and word roots . You'd think I was going for a medical degree rather than just Medical Coding and Billing  , but there is a little light at the end of the tunnel!      This Thursday is my final for this class. I got a 94 on my mid-term and have a 96 going into final (thank goodness for homework  !) My next class is Anatomy and Physiology (aka A&P) and I really don't think it will be as hard as Medical Terminology. Lots of diagrams and labeling... That being said...I am still here...lurking, dreaming, and wanting to be back in a more active phase...give me another week...  and THANK YOU for your patience! Good wishes/and or prayers for my final on Thursday much appreciated.... As "Arnold" says: I'll be back.....  |

| oh geez o petes anyway!!! I am not sure what happened to April, but all I know is that I wasn't engaged much at all  . This isn't like me, and I want to apologize to any that I have let down in doing things this month. I am trying to get myself jump-started for May, and get back on track with everything... OMG!!! If anyone knows where "Murphy" is, I'd really like to choke him!  Good News...so far keeping 98 avg in class... Bad News...my instructor got hit while inside her favorite restaurant, as somebody hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes, and plowed into the restaurant. Heard from her once, but haven't heard any thing else. My computer crashed....So much fun trying to reinstall stuff I was just happy that I remembered most of my passwords . My Phone crashed! Seriously???? My daughter is letting me use her old I-phone 4 (HATE i-phones! much prefer androids!) Not sure how much more I can take! |
| "Invalid Entry" Monday will be finished! Yahoooooooooeeeee! This Give It 100 was very much a challenge for me...A HUGE thank you to my cheerleaders! I couldn't have done it without you!  On a good note: Start Medical Terminology for my second class (They give you one class every five weeks) So this is class number two...will my 97% hold? I am pretty confident about it! Looking forward to a wonderful weekend. I have my room back and back together! Hate feeling like crap and not being able to keep up with stuff! And Countdown to the Swimming Pool needs to commence! |
| No, I didn't fall off the face of the earth...although it seems like I have ...The dust allergy from the windy Texas dirt has triggered some asthma type symptoms that I have been fighting this last week. Exercising has been minimal, although I have kept moving...On a fun note, I did ace my first class with a 97.24%...I'm pretty stoked about it. Monday I start Medical Terminology...so we shall see how long that grade holds First off, I want to apologize for being behind on my awards for my last contest. I ask for your patience, and I promise to shackle myself to the computer this weekend! I appreciate everyone so very much!
