It's been weeks since I've logged in here and I think I'm finally realizing I just don't have time to come here too often. Sorry to everyone who might be waiting on me for something! To be safe, I'm just going to be "on hiatus" for now until I find more time in the the week to sit down at the computer! Yikes!

We have been discussing our current projects and our approach to giving and receiving reviews. I'd love to see more participation and get to know all the WDC members a bit better, so please join the conversation! And, if you have another topic you'd like to chat about, by all means start a new thread. *Bigsmile*
My first chapter, "Invalid Entry"  has been edited and posted. I'm working increasing the main character's voice, removing filtering words, and really focusing on the important things (taking out non-essential stuff). Now to move on to other chapters. Lots of work to do! *Bigsmile*
My goal this summer was to write. And I'm doing it! I just updated "Invalid Entry" , which is the 4th Chapter in my long-winded novel. I'm working on cutting out the stuff that's boring and unnecessary and really focusing on increasing pace and POV. Though I can't always write each day, when I do write, I'm at the computer off and on for HOURS. Which I love to do!
I've not tried to write on paper since high school *Wink* My fingers go much faster typing, and I like the ease of copy-paste and delete with the computer. I also like to compose on my iPad with a bluetooth keyboard, but can also (and this is WEIRD) compose on my iPhone using just my thumbs to type. I've written entire chapters this way, in bed in the middle of the night, when the inspiration hit! Lucky I have mad thumb-typing skills...it's all that texting I do. Haha!
Now that I have some time, I'm trying this feature out. This is a test. Only a test. I guess this is as good a time as any to dip my toes in...
