Look for the resources in your area like was posted above. Eyes are better with cataract surgery. I know how hard it is to help people who are not mobile. You and wife will be in my prayers.

Call friends, family, neighbors, and folks in the community. In a small town? Someone will know someone who can help; but... only if you let them know.

I'd give a hug but hugs are not what we need (though I'll take any that are offered IRL).

I'm scared to leave because I'm afraid of what getting back-in may entail. My plan back in 2022 was to be in another country when this shit hit. Thailand was an adventure but "it's complicated". My ex-boyfriend and I keep in touch and I want to visit soon; but ... ...

The real problem though is beyond politics or partisanship. The American people have become more fearful and mean in the last 20 years.

Progress?

The final estimate on the ramp with tax is 7100. Not as bad as i thought. I am attempting to apply for grants and other aid. now that i have some numbers i can ask for what i need. still, i might have to take out a second mortgage or refinance.
