| I came across an adage in a blog: Write Within Yourself. I had an immediate reaction to those words. "Yes!" I whispered to my computer screen. I got it. Her words went a long way in melting my resistance to believing in me. You see, a powerful story dropped into my lap, and it's mine for the telling. The tremendously huge, albeit sophomoric, first draft was complete; its author had simply grown weary of the task. I know I have the skills to write it - I just have to find them. |
