Holly who is partners with another PI detective own an agency because she wanted to have her independence. Her business partner in the agency is sick so she is on her own. Receiving a clan about a missing person and agreeing to try to find this person Holly embarks on an adventure into a mystery that winds and twists bring her into the words of several characters who seem normal every day folks. Two of these people are a married couple in their eighties who have numerous medical issues. They are helpful as much as possible, but they have secrets. The college professors are well known and respected at the college. Their private lives remain private. Other cases of disappearances are brought to Hollies attention as she diggs deeper into this mystery. Eventually Holly finds herself in a situation she may not be able to resolve. | ||

If you have a weak stomach get the tissues and tighten your seatbelt. This book is not for the faint of heart, but it is easier to take in reading the story than watching a movie version. | ||

There is very little if anything I didn't like bout this book except...It's a secret. If I could give the characters and writing more than five stars I would. | ||
