Shoe Prints

I wrote this when my boyfriend and I made up after a huge fight.

All was forgotten
Every memory
Every smile
Every laugh
It was all gone
When she made a mistake
She said some real stupid shit
So he wanted to do to her
As she did to him
Nothing has ever hurt this bad
She has never gone through this much pain
But then again
She has never given her heart
This quickly
She gave him her heart
Then he stomped all over it
Right in front of her
As the both appoligized
He tried to pick up the crushed pieces
And put them back together
By saying he loves her
She followed her smashed heart
And forgave him
Soon her heart was working
Good as new
Just with a few shoe prints
