Falling Apart Again -poem-

One of my best friends isn't speaking to me, and my boyfriend is joining the army.

I went looking for my treasure the other day.

Looking high and low

Under the bed and above the vanity

Looking far and wide

Behind the television and below the stair

Looking sideways and back ways

Next to the bookends and in my chair

Looking odd ways too

In the boiling pot and bathroom tissue

I could not find my treasure anywhere

Then today I was discarding some issue

There I saw broken my

Rose tinted lenses in a metal frame
