To Bury the Sun

hm...a poem for the sun!

I loved the sun
And she loved me
But to the ground I'm forever chained

And forever she'll love me
And I in return
Even after my body has waned

She touched me, she did
And though I couldn't return it
She loved me 'till the end of my days

And she'll linger on
long after I'm gone
In a loving, fiery blaze
