My Serenity

This is one of the poems I wrote for my girlfriend.

Swim in an ocean of day and of night.
The moonlight is blinding, red, burning bright.
The wind passes through me as if I'm not there,
And I feel myself drift up off into the air.
My thoughts running out of me like water in stream
As I stare at the stars while they glisten and gleam.
Serenity,
My Serenity.
The empty night sky is filled with the sound
Of the muse that's within me that now I have found.
She rests in my arms as we float through the sky.
I hold my muse tightly as time passes by.
Serenity,
My Serenity.
