sparkle

.... a thankyou....

A spirit so lost, given up for dead
A heart unfeeling, just in motion
A mind giving unto others
And devoid of true self emotions
A body used and abused now numb
A soul that had been given away
I was stuck in this form of limbo
Until.. for one second, one day..

Then a sparkle ignited a flame
And there was a strange connection
A fire built up deep inside
Causing, for the lost, a resurrection
And this is why I am thankful
And up to the day I truly die
I'll be comforted, strong and happy
Because of the sparkle in someone's eye
