As I walk through this valley, all I see is darkness.
It seems that I have been here before.
I never seem to find the end.
Lonely and bleak, there's not a soul around.
I cry out to hear a voice, to know that I am not alone.
In return there is only stillness.
But still I cry out.
Waiting and wanting to hear a voice.
In the distance, I hear a still small voice saying,"look around you. Stop and look."
There before me, I see a light that shines like the sun.
There before me is a vast valley of lilies.
Oh how beautiful they are.
All around me is plush greens.
The water is as blue as the sky.
As I look off into the distance, I see a path that leads to the mountains.
As I look back, I know there truly is beauty in this valley of mine.
