Church of the Unknown Deity

Will we ever find out who or what "god" is?

Face it. There may or may not be a god, but, if there is, we really know nothing about him or her or it.

Why not create a church that honestly explores the nature of divinity without the hand-holds of currently organized religions. This church would combine the knowledge and techniques of science; philosophy, and make sure it is multi-cultural philosophy; psychology, abnormal psychology included; mythology, again, multi-cultural mythology; and observation to determine what, if any, god or gods there may be. This, to me, would be a church in the truest sense, with a congregation of seekers with no agenda to support one religion or another, merely the enthusiasm and energy and will to explore the unknown.
