Secret of the Sea

She revealed to me the secret of the sea

Last night, as my lover and I sat
On the edge of a cliff, overlooking the sea,
We sang sweetly of ancient mysteries
And my love unravelled a secret;
Falling into my ears was the path -
He told me the secret to Finding Neverland.
Shaking my curls in the gentle air,
I grinned like a lynx and pulled him Closer.
He assured me it was no riddle
as we watched the dolphins play.
When my eyes shown with wonder and belief
And my mind whirled with possibilities,
a shimmering mermaid popped through the blue surface
of the shifting waters below.
She shook her glorious seaweed hair
and winked at me, a Sideways hint.
Her lips opened and a riddle escaped,
carried on the magic of The Aviator.
