Forever Until the End

A poem that I wrote about two friends going through life together.

“Forever Until the End”

Dear Friend,
Remember the first time we met?
We were just babies in diapers.

Dear Friend,
Remember when we started school together?
We were so nervous, but we stuck by each other.

Dear Friend,
Remember the first time we went out?
I was so afraid you wouldn’t show up, but you weren’t even late.

Dear Friend,
Remember our wedding day?
There were tears of joy running down our cheeks.

Dear Friend,
Remember what I’ve always said?
We are together now, forever,
Forever until the end.
