The book (series, if all goes well) that I'm working on

I've been working on this book for several years now (has it really been that long?) and I've barely made 42 pages in Word... kinda depressing.
I guess the best way to describe it is the love child of "Animorphs," "Jumanji," and "The Sword of Shannara."
