Lost From God

Feeling lost with God, and unsure of myself and where I stand in this world. . .

Lost in this world,
So far from my eternal home.
Why, Father, am I going through life,
Feeling like I'm so alone?

God, please show me who
It is You want me to be.
Because right now Father,
Who I am, I cannot see.

I know in Your eyes
I am someone special.
But to the world I am not,
And to me, I feel like a human pretzel.

My emotions are so jumbled,
My thoughts seem so unpure.
The only thing I do know,
Is I love You Father, that's for sure.

So can You help me please?
So I can be what You want me to be.
And so they can know You are true.
So they can finally see.

See that I am a some one,
That I'm not just a nobody.
Or at least Father,
Please show me.
